EAST with Mikey February is a five episode surf series produced by Stab and presented by Vans and Kona Big Wave. The series follows Mikey February as he tries out 17 different alternative boards, the most we have ever done, and this time he ordered them all himself instead of doing the usual blind test. The project was filmed across California, Australia, and the South and North Shore of Oahu.
I filmed Episodes 2, 3, and 5 in California, the South Shore of Oahu, and the North Shore of Oahu. We shot through the summer of 2025, mixing in strike missions to Malibu and Lowers, plus the swell of the summer on the South Shore and an early season pulse on the North Shore.
I also edited all the social assets for Stab, Vans, Kona Big Wave, the shapers, and Mikey. That included trailers, quick teasers, and raw surf clips.

E.A.S.T. Fest
Stab's E.A.S.T. Fest is a festival celebrating surf culture, focusing on experimental surfboards and shapers. The event, which debuted in 2025 at the Palm Springs Surf Club, features live music, food drinks, and the opportunity for attendees to test hundreds of unique, custom-made surfboards with professional surfers.
